Meet KYOKA:
In June 2004, Kyoka formed a street dance team “Rush Ball” with Maika. The duo quickly became a dominant force in the youth dancing scene, making their presence known by winning multiple prizes at dance events around the world. Kyoka has participated in top tier competitions around the world as a representative of Japan at WDC and JUSTE DEBOUT, the biggest street dance battle in the world. In 2016, she and her partner Maika defeated Jeems and Lil’Blade in the final and became the 2016 Juste Debout champions.
Meet MEME: Meme hails from Japan, was born & raised in Osaka, and specializes in Waacking. She started dancing at the age of 5 when she first saw Amuro Namie, a famous Japanese artist, in a music video. Flash forward to today, and her goal is to become a known & respected dancer worldwide & show the world the beauty of waacking. When she’s not traveling or training, you can find her competing in local competitions like Tokyo Dance Delight & Osaka Dance Delight. One of her more recent goals is to win Old School Night, a big competition in Japan. Not only does she compete, but her battle experience has also earned her respect as a judge in dance community battles. Although she’s only been introduced to worldwide fans quite recently, her commitment to dance makes her name in waacking something to watch for.
Meet STALAMUERTE:
StalaMuerte is a Swiss dancer who represents his own style called “crazysweetness.” He is the winner in Hip Hop of Juste Debout 2019 and was together, with Diablo, a finalist in 2017 and 2018. Some of the competitions he’s won include Fusion Concept World Final, KOD World Final, UK B-Boy Championship Switzerland, 2x Street Fighter Switzerland, 2x Energie Urbaine, Juste Debout Greece and Bolo1 Contest. He is traveling around the world to participate in competitions like Cercle Underground and Ilovethisdance.
Meet POPPIN’ C:
Born in Morges, Switzerland, Poppin’ C began breaking at the age of 12. At the age of 15, Poppin’ C graduated from the “D-Master” school of choreography in Lausanne. There he learned different styles of Hip Hop dance. During his career, he’s participated in countless events, including French television shows such as “Dance Street,” “The Dance” and “Tu si que vales.” He is consistently called up worldwide as a judge or teacher for various dance competitions.
